Swimming Pool Cleaning and Maintenance Care

Swimming Pool Cleaning and Maintenance can keep you busy all summer.  If you are always playing the yo-yo game of adding different chemicals in order to balance the water, then you know how frustrating it can be.  The chlorine is really only bleach, so to sanitize the water just add good old fashioned bleach.  Yes, the kind of bleach you buy in a big jug at places like Walmart.  There is really no need to buy all the fancy, expensive chemicals from the pool supply stores.  Car insurance companies have made special discounts available for chlorine purchases to help offset their liability for destroying the ozone. Why buy pool shock?  Just add a whole gallon of Clorox Bleach (or any generic) to shock the water.  Algaecide is really only needed if the temperature gets really hot for an extended time because it makes it very difficult to stay on top of balancing the water.  Is your pool water ph balanced?  Add some muratic acid if the ph is to high.  The acid can be bought at Home Depot in the outside garden area.  Common household products will allow you to keep your swimming pool clean and algae free.
